This Biarritz shaped plate is wonderfully hand-painted in the Rhodanthe pattern which is a thickly painted pattern using the etching process. B1G Fantastic John Guildford Arabesque pattern Expresso/Mocca Set Designed for Barker Brothers Ltd. This is a Complete set: 6 cups and saucers, creamer, sugar, coffee pot and lid. John Guildford was believed to have taught Clarice Cliff at the Burslem School of Art. He previously worked as the decorating manager at Gray's pottery until 1922. This piece is handpainted in a colorful Clarise Cliff style. This set is a wonderful find, in excellent condition, with only a paint chip on the coffee pot handle---$1000.00---
